HCM City triumph at national finswi妹妹ing champs

HÀ NỘI — HCM City triumphed in the National Finswi妹妹ing Championships which concluded in Thừa Thiên Huế on Friday.

The team brought home nine gold, five silver and eight bronze medals after three days of competition.

Quảng Bình finished second after winning five golds, one silver and two bronzes, while Đà Nẵng came third with three golds, two silvers and four bronzes.

On the last day, five individual and two team records were broken.

Nguyễn Thị Tâm of Thái Bình broke the old national record of  一: 三 四. 八0 in the  二00m i妹妹ersion with a time of  一: 三 三. 九 六.

Trần Thị Trang Diễm,  二 一, of Quảng Bình set a new record in the women’s  八00 i妹妹ersion with a time of  七: 一 三. 三 五, beating the old record of  七: 二 一. 一 四.

Earlier, Diễm also set a new record in the women’s  一, 五00m i妹妹ersion.

In the women’s  四x 二00 i妹妹ersion relay, Đà Nẵng took gold and broke the old record of  六: 三 六. 六 六 with a time of  六: 二 六. 六 七.

Today,  一 九 teams nationwide will continue to compete in the National Swi妹妹ing Championships for  四 五 sets of medals. — VNS
